I think this kid likes to dance on my bladder. Last night between 12:00 and 1:00, I went to the bathroom four times. Four times, that can not be normal.

Some of you may have already read some of these, but I guess Conan O'Brien started a bit of a craze with the fun Chuck Norris Facts.

My favourites are as follows:

-Chuck Norris can win a game of Connect Four in only three moves.

-If you ask Chuck Norris what time it is, he always says, "Two seconds 'til." After you ask, "Two seconds 'til what?" he roundhouse kicks you in the face.

-There is no theory of evolution, just a list of creatures Chuck Norris allows to live.

-Chuck Norris is currently suing NBC, claiming Law and Order are trademarked names for his left and right legs.

-Chuck Norris does not hunt because the word hunting implies the probability of failure. Chuck Norris goes killing.

-Chuck Norris is not hung like a horse... horses are hung like Chuck Norris.

-Chuck Norris can divide by zero.

I miss the stars. I have spent the last four days visiting family in Choiceland. It was nice and relaxing. There are so many stars there. You can see at least triple what you can see when you are in the city. One of these trips I am going to have to bring my tripod and take some pictures.

Mmm.. I am craving Subway's Veggie Delight. My current favourite sub from subway. Of course, I usually eat them with some Lay's classic chips added for some crunch. Mmmm.. My favourite. I fed myself through undergrad on a diet of Subway and Extreme Pita. Although, IMHO Subway is the best after a good night of heavy drinking. Then, nothing beats Subway... Or maybe Mr. Sub. Actually, pretty much anything tastes its best at the end of a night of heavy drinking. Hmmm... I miss the good ol' days. This reminiscing is starting to make me feel so old. Maybe it is just the pregnancy thing that is making me feel old.

UPDATE: I now have a job. Sure, as soon as I start whining about it on my website an offer comes along. I should have complained a long time ago. Starting Feb 1st I have a five month contract with a professor on campus. I will be a lab tech. Fun! Okay, maybe not that fun to most of you out there, but it is better then waitressing. Well, the pay is pretty crappy. It is barely more then I make now, but it is more and better than nothing so I am NOT complaining. The project I will be working on is one involving protein crystallography, which is perfect for me, as it is what I have been doing for the past three and half years. I am very comfortable with what I will be doing and with the lab I will be working in. The fact that I was able to ask for a five month term was very good as well.

Anyone out there hiring? My job search is getting desperate. If someone would have told me how difficult it was going to be to get a job when I started grad school, I may have thought a little harder about that decision. I have many talents.... Hire me!!! I am ready to start immediately and I am looking for a temporary full time position. I will do almost anything.

It is sad how serious I am about applying for a waitress positions again. I thought I was finished with that two years ago. Well, it looks like I will be back in the restaurant business soon. A waitress with a M.Sc., imagine that. I am sure I won't be the first.

Yes, I am going to start begging soon.

Things are starting to get back to normal, besides the fact that the morning sickness isn't going away. By the way, who ever labeled it morning sickness, there is nothing morning about it. For me it is all day. Anyways, back to some better news, my thesis is officially finished again. By that I mean I am done another round of corrections. Therefore it is complete until I get more corrections back again. Hopefully the next set of corrections won't take me two months to finish.

Here is a picture of a palm tree just to prove that I still use my camera. I know I haven't posted any pictures for so long.

I did something pretty exciting today. I heard the heart beat at the Doctor's office today.

... Pause ...

Oh yeah, wait. There are still some of you out there that don't know. Well, here it goes, the cat is out of the bag. We are pregnant! Actually, I am 13 weeks and four days pregnant. Now y'all know why I have been so distracted lately, not to mention nauseous.

I guess this makes it official. All of you that have been refraining from posting about it can feel free now, thanks for your patience. I have been noticing the lack of comments lately so I thought maybe if I post about something big I can get some ones attention again. That may be nice. Although, I guess the lack of comments is truly my own fault. I am afraid my posts have been quite few and far between and the ones that are present seem to lack any sort of interest. I have been actually contemplating shutting down my blog lately, but, without my blog how would my family know that I am alive. I may have to actually start using the phone more often.

The wedding was a blast and there are a lot of good pictures. I think everyone will be happy. Now it is on to the metropolis of Prince Albert for a final Christmas horrah. The season is soon over and back to work it is. Boooo!
