I know I haven't updated lately, but it is official now. The thesis is finished. All I am waiting for now are my corrections to come back and then the scheduling of the defense. At this rate I will be completely done by either late December or early January.

Marc and I are going to Calgary for the weekend and then Edmonton for the following week. I am looking forward to the break and to visiting my sister. It will be like the summer holiday we never took. Well, at least the weekend will be, not to mention the concert on Thursday. The week, however, will only be a holiday for me, as Marc is working while I vacation with my sister, brother-in-law and of course my niece, Hannah.

Time to start Christmas shopping I guess. Hmmm...I don't know if I am looking forward to that.

Great news, everybody! I won two tickets to go see Hawksley Workman in concert in Calgary on Thursday evening. I think I'm going to go. Friday's a stat and it would be nice to see my favourite artist of all time!
