Well, according to my supervisors, my methods and materials is well written. That makes me breath easier. My page count is now at 68. Wow, that seems like a big number. It feels good.

Anybody want to go to Matt Mays & El Torpedo on October 21st at Louis'? I saw them open for Blue Rodeo and they were great, inspiring me to buy their album.

I'll be there. Who's with me?!?

Tonight's the night! COLLECTIVE SOUL is coming to town and I'm going! I can't wait!

Everybody that I've talked to that has seen them, says that they put on an incredible performance. I hope they're right.

We had a kick ass house warming last night. A lot of awesome people showed up. I had a blast. This morning we are going out for Dim Sum and then we are off to the farm. It should be a good weekend of visiting and photography. Oh and maybe a little harvesting too, but that depends on the farmers out there, definitely not my expertise.

It's been confirmed! One of my favourite bands (not my favourite, but close) is releasing their first studio album in around five years. It'll be out in November. I can't wait!

Anybody out there know how to maximize Google results?

My uncle has a construction company in Kicking Horse British Columbia and I am wondering if there is anything I can do to bolster his search results. I think when people search for Kicking Horse Construction, they should get my uncle's company, since it's called Kicking Horse Construction Ltd., but it didn't even show up on the first fifteen pages when I searched.

Personally, I think he got hosed. He was guaranteed high search results when he paid big $$ for his website development, and I can't even find the site and I'm looking specifically for his site. First of all, I can't believe his url includes the "ltd" of the company name; kickinghorseconstruction.com is available.

I heard that if people link a certain phrase to your site, Google will recognize that and include it in their rankings. I thought I'd try to include a bunch of links to my uncle's website, so that if people search for Kicking Horse Construction, they might be able to find it.

On the menu tonight was Miso Soup and Salmon and Tuna Sushi. Mmm..mmm..good. It was my first time making sushi and I would have to say it turned out awesome. I think the key to good sushi is the seafood. I finally used the Christmas present I got a few years ago from Carmen. It is a book all about making sushi. The cook book helped a bundle.

I have been busy making labels for Marc's Beer. Here are some of what I have come up with. It is actually very good, or at least what I have tasted so far is. He has made one truly successful batch and two more are on the way.

Friday Feast

Appetizer
Do your closer friends tend to be male or female? Why do you think that is?
I would have to say female. Usually the close friends I have had in the past that were male, all ended up being boyfriends at one time or another. Hence, now my best friend, Marc, is now my husband and I keep most of my other good friends that are female. There must be something about getting married that makes male friends kind of leave the picture.

Soup
If you could wake up tomorrow with a new talent, what would it be?
I would have a talent to speak several languages fluently. Namely, French and Vietnamese.

Salad
Name a household cleaning item that you would recommend to others.
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and Comet.

Main Course
What do you strive for in life?
Happiness

Dessert
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how funny do you consider yourself?
Good question. Maybe ... hmmmm ... I don't know. How about 7. I don't think I am consistently funny, but sometimes I come up with a gooder.

This is pretty freaky!

This is my initiation back on the internet, I hope y'all like it. The Sasktel person that came to hook up the internet isn't even gone yet and I am already posting. I actually have missed it. I noticed Marc posted a couple of times throughout the week. Thanks for that, Marc.

Lots has happened in the past couple of weeks. We are settled into the new house and it looks great. I love everything about it. Our house warming party is going to be next Friday, so keep that date open.

Last weekend I spent a day making Apple Jelly, Apple Plum Jelly and Applesauce. It was my first canning experience and it was actually easier then I anticipated. Also, I joined the Saskatoon Camera Club and that has been pretty interesting as well.

Lots of exciting stuff going on.

In other news, we're almost all settled in our new place. The whole main floor is unpacked and the rest of our furniture is arriving on Friday.

Thanks to some great friends and family for helping us move.

Some good news for all of you who didn't know you cared -- all of the Pearl Jam tickets are sold. All of that work and hassle for a whopping $5 profit. I'm never going to try scalping again. Unless Elton John comes back.

EDIT: The Pearl Jam concert was awesome! Definitely on my top 5 of all time. What a show!

Anybody need Pearl Jam tickets for the show in Saskatoon tomorrow night? Email me at hoffa1DELEET@gmail.com (remove "DELEET").

I'm absolutely pumped about the show. I heard it went well out west.
