![]() Yet another image I created from the ones sent to me. Thank you guys for sending me these pictures. The original is below. ![]() written by angela at 10:30 AM [+] | These two pictures were originally taken in Africa by Marc's brother (and mine too now!!) and, of course, they were edited by me. The latter of the two pictures, I did not really do much too, the picture was just so adorable originally. ![]() ![]() written by angela at 10:03 AM [+] | Thursday, February 24, 2005
![]() Here is another of my interactive art projects. I made this from some pictures sent to me by ... you guess who. It is him in the pictures. Click here to see the original pictures. written by angela at 4:54 PM [+] | Monday, February 21, 2005
![]() Here is me in the back of the helmet in front of me. The lake was so much fun this weekend. The weather was so beautiful and there was so much snow for ski doing. If you want to check out some of the photos I took over the weekend, just go to my online photo album. There are also a couple on my daily photo page. It sucks that the weekends are so short, we have to cram everything into one and a half days. It would be nice to go down for a week and take it easy a bit. Oh well, maybe one day. That is what retirement is for, right? written by angela at 11:06 AM [+] | Friday, February 18, 2005 We are off the the lake this weekend. Or rather, the frozen lake. Maybe we will squeeze in some ice fishing and some snow mobiling. It should be a blast with all the snow we have been getting. Have a good weekend. written by angela at 11:07 AM [+] | Tuesday, February 15, 2005
![]() I cracked open a long hidden cookbook from my kitchen last night and oh what a great thing that was. For my special someone, and myself of course, I made Prawn and Noodle Soup from my new favourite cookbook, The Essential Asian Cookbook. The soup turned out to be more then awesome, it was ultra amazing. I will definitely have to make more out of this cookbook. I actually have already planned two more recipes from this cookbook to hit the table sometime this week. My mouth is watering just remembering last nights supper. written by angela at 10:30 AM [+] | Friday, February 11, 2005
![]() and, here is the original... Thanks, kurt, for the first of my interactive images. I hope you don't mind the little ghost images I added to the corner of your image. This scenic photograph is very nice so I didn't really add much to it. I did some basic touch up to fix the exposure and light balance. I then replaced the sky with one of my own, I like the way the cloudy sky looks with this image. I may still use this image in future pieces, as I really like the texture in the rocks. My next image will be made out of some photographs that Marc sent me, it should be quite comical. If anyone else is interested in sending me their photo, please don't hesitate (angelab101[at]yahoo[dot]com). However, be prepared for it to be published on my website.
written by angela at 4:12 PM [+] | Wednesday, February 09, 2005 I finally posted some new pictures to my daily photo website. Last night I got this great idea to make my website more interactive. If anyone is interested, I would like you to send me some of your own photos. I will take them and use my digital imaging skills to have a little fun and see what I can create. I will then post the image back on my website for all to see. If anyone is interested, please email me your images to angelab101[at]yahoo[dot]com. I think this will be a good way to see images from some of my readers and it will be great practice for me. I am always up for a digital imaging challenge. I look forward to getting your pictures. written by angela at 2:38 PM [+] | Thursday, February 03, 2005 I just got my million dollar idea. But, oh it would be the most tedious, laboriously boring work. I spent all of today trying to track down some scientific information that is pretty basic and shouldn't be that hard to find, right? Wrong. It was like this endless trail of journal article to journal article. Finally I found what I wanted in a research article hidden in the dark corners of the library. It was in an old dusty leather bound book written in 1937. Ah ha, victory for me. But, this should not have to be so hard. There must be a way to go through all this scientific information and organize it in a way that one can just mention the topic of research and everything that has ever been published about it will be at your fingertips. Doesn't that sound great. Yeah, well, it probably will never happen. Who wants to spend years going through old research journals in the libraries around the world? written by angela at 6:09 PM [+] | Tuesday, February 01, 2005 Someone came to my blog by searching; Oprah's most romantic Man search. Marc, they must be looking for you! written by angela at 10:56 AM [+] |
